Nestled in the heart of the oldest part of Drummore, the southernmost village in Scotland, lies Ticketyboo Cottage. A short walk from the cottage will take you to the beach or any of the four pubs and cafés, village shop, post office and play park for the smaller guests.
Ticketyboo Cottage has been furnished to a high standard with a comfortable suite in the lounge/dining area where you get views over the garden and a glimpse of Luce Bay while enjoying your morning coffee. The kitchen again overlooks the garden and has everything you may need to make your stay here at Ticketyboo Cottage perfect. There is a large master bedroom with kingsize sleigh bed and separate dressing area, as well as a twin room and a large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Outside is a lovely enclosed garden area with patio and a barbecue.
From the garden, the garage opens to reveal the games room featuring a full-size pool table which can be converted to an air hockey table or ¾ size table tennis table, a table football table and a dart board, a fantastic place to entertain yourself if the weather is a bit disagreeable. To the front of the cottage is a further patio area with a tête-a-tête set where perhaps a glass of wine can be enjoyed on a fine evening.
Drummore is a small coastal village situated in the Rhins of Galloway, Scotland’s most southerly point and offers stunning uninterrupted views across the sea. The area is unspoilt, boasting idyllic scenery and amazing seascapes around the Rhins, as dramatic as they are beautiful. Other local attractions include golf courses and the RSPB Scotland, Mull of Galloway nature reserve where thousands of seabirds nest in the cliff face during the spring and summer. Harbour porpoises, dolphins, seals, otters and minke whales can also be spotted. Walking is a delight, whether clifftop, beaches, hills or forests. It is a cyclist’s paradise, with the world famous 7Stanes within easy reach.
