This charming cottage has lovely views over open countryside and is close to the beach and Loch Ryan. Situated in a rural location on the A718, 1 mile from the village of Leswalt and close to the town of Stranraer with shops, restaurants and pubs.
The surrounding coastline is stunning with sandy beaches, clifftop walks, and shingle and rocky coves to explore with birdlife in abundance. The RSPB Mull of Galloway with thousands of nesting birds and the visitor centre is worth a visit.
The area is very popular with walkers, with the Southern Upland Way passing nearby. There are many coastal villages to explore in the area. Sandhead with its 7-mile beach is a small village on Luce Bay while Portpatrick has a lovely harbour alongside some gift shops, pubs and restaurants.
Sea fishing, golf and other country pursuits are available including shooting and horse riding. Day trips to Ireland can be taken from Cairnryan. Beach ½ mile. Shop and pub 1 mile, restaurant 3 miles.
