This cosy cottage boasts views over the Stinchar River, Craignell Castle and the surrounding hills, and is an ideal location from which to explore the beauty of the surrounding area. Ayrshire offers unspoilt scenery and a varying coastline, with villages, sandy beaches and rocky coves to explore, while inland, there are gardens and castles to visit, as well as riding, racing and a choice of golf courses. Culzean Castle, a National Trust property, is spectacular and is Ayrshire’s most popular tourist attraction. The surrounding country park, covering over 550 acres, has a network of wooded trails passing along the coast. Craft shows, country dancing and walks for spotting fungi are all hosted throughout the year. Why not take a day trip to Ireland from Cairnryan. The bustling, cosmopolitan city of Glasgow is easily reached, with train links from Girvan. Or take a ferry over to the islands of Cumbrae, Bute and Arran, which are all within easy reach for a lovely day out. Beach 4 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 5 miles.
