From your base at Loch Doon Cottage the harbour is only 500 yards away and the wider area is both tranquil and picturesque, offering the ideal location to explore the breathtaking scenery around the region. Close by is the Galloway Forest Park, Britain’s largest forest park with 300 square miles of wild beauty just waiting to be explored. Awarded the status of only one of four Dark Sky Parks and a Unesco World Heritage Site, there is no better place to discover the sky at night!
