Kite 1
Kite 1 is a barn conversion here in Llanafan fawr, mid-Wales. It's one of four cottages on the same site, set back in a quiet valley. You're about eight miles from Builth Wells.
It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. It sleeps four but it's all in one open-plan space, so it's one bedroom area, one living area, and one bathroom. It's better suited for a couple or a small family.
The big thing here is the shared stuff on site. There's an indoor swimming pool, a games room with a console, and a mini golf course. Outside, there's a fishing lake. You can see it from the cottage. There's plenty of wildlife around, red kites included.
A shop is five miles away. The nearest pub and restaurant are in Builth Wells, about eight miles. You'll need a car.
For things to do, you're well placed for the Elan Valley, which is about half an hour's drive. The Visit Wales page for Elan Valley has the details. You can also get to the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park within 30 minutes. Their official site is here.
In the cottage, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, and bedding and towels are included. There's a cot available. Parking is right outside. WiFi is Starlink, so it's decent. No pets allowed.
