This is Kite 1. It's a single barn conversion, one of four cottages together in a valley about eight miles outside Builth Wells. Very rural. You're basically in the middle of fields and woods.
It sleeps four, but it's all in one open-plan space upstairs. So it's one big bedroom area with a double bed and two singles. Downstairs is open plan too: kitchen, living area, and the bathroom is down there. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable, not luxury.
The main thing here is the space outside. You've got views over a fishing lake. There's a shared games room with a console and TV, a small pool, a mini golf course, and a kids' play area. Starlink WiFi covers the cottage and the shared areas. If you like fishing, it's coarse and fly fishing on the lake.
The nearest shop is five miles away. The closest pub and restaurant are in Builth Wells, about eight miles. You'll need a car.
For walks, you can just head out from the door. The valley is full of wildlife, red kites especially. For a proper day out, Brecon Beacons National Park is about a 30 minute drive. The Elan Valley reservoirs are stunning and about the same distance. Hay-on-Wye is about 40 minutes if you like books.
What's here: bedding and towels are included, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, a cot, and a BBQ. On-site parking. No pets.
