This is Cambrian Mountain View. It's a detached bungalow on our sheep farm near Llanafan fawr in Powys.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a kingsize bed and an ensuite shower. The main room is open plan. There's a wood burner, a sofa, a TV, and a kitchen area with a dishwasher and washing machine. The views from the windows are the main thing. You look out over the Epynt, the Black Mountains, and the Cambrian Mountains.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. There's a hot tub out there. From it, you're just looking at the hills.
There's no Wi-Fi, but the 4G signal here is strong. We find it works fine.
You can walk straight from the door onto the farm tracks and into the hills. The nearest pub is about two miles away in Llanafan. Builth Wells is under five miles for shops. They have the Royal Welsh Showground there for events. Llandrindod Wells is about ten miles. It's a Victorian spa town with a nice lake to walk around.
If you want to drive out for the day, you're not far from the Elan Valley reservoirs or the market town of Hay-on-Wye. The Brecon Beacons National Park is about a half hour drive to the south.
Facilities are all listed, but to cover the basics: all bedding and towels are included, there's parking right outside, and we allow up to two dogs. The garden is fully enclosed.
