Cambrian Mountain View
Cambrian Mountain View is a bungalow on our farm in Llanafan. It's just for two people. You're on your own out here, the bungalow is separate from our house.
The main thing is the view. From the front, you look out over the valley towards the Epynt and the Black Mountains. You can see it from the living room and the private hot tub outside.
It's a 4 Star place. One bedroom with a kingsize bed and an en-suite shower. The living space is all open plan. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. We include the logs.
The garden is enclosed, so dogs are fine. We allow up to two. There's also a Finnish sauna in a separate hut. You can book three sessions for £25 if you want to use it.
There's no Wi-Fi in the bungalow. The 4G signal here is strong though, so you can use your phones if you need to.
You can walk straight from the door onto the tracks and lanes. The nearest pub is about two miles away in Llanafan village. For a shop or a restaurant, you'd drive to Builth Wells, which is under five miles. Builth has the Royal Welsh Showground for events.
Llandrindod Wells is about ten miles. It's a Victorian spa town with nice parks and a lake. The Elan Valley reservoirs are within half an hour's drive for more walking.
For facilities: it's all on one level, there's parking right outside, a washing machine, dishwasher, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included.
