Kite 2
Kite 2 is a barn conversion in Llanafan. It's one of four cottages in the same valley. The place is very quiet, about eight miles from Builth Wells.
It's a three star property, which means it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. It sleeps four in one bedroom, which is open plan upstairs. There's one bathroom. The stairs are quite steep, just so you know.
Outside, it faces a fishing lake. There's a games room with a console and TV for everyone to use, and a shared swimming pool. You can fish on the lake if you want to. The lawns lead down to it.
The cottage has a woodburner, a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included.
You're a proper drive from shops and pubs. The nearest shop is five miles, the nearest pub is eight miles in Builth. You really will want to bring your food with you.
It's good for walking straight from the door. You see red kites here all the time. Elan Valley and its reservoirs are about a 30 minute drive away. The Brecon Beacons National Park is to the south, also within half an hour. For a bigger town, Aberystwyth on the coast is just under an hour.
No pets are allowed. You can book it with the other cottages if you have a bigger group.
