The Brewers Cottage
The Brewers Cottage is in Crosshill, near Ayr. It's detached, but it’s next to our house. You can't see us from the cottage garden though, it's private.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each has its own bathroom, which is handy. There's a hot tub on the patio. You share the tennis court and croquet lawn with the other cottage.
The place has a 4 Star rating. That means it's well-finished. It's got underfloor heating, a wood burner, a dishwasher. There's an electric vehicle charger on the drive.
You can bring two dogs. The garden is enclosed, but check the hedges as some dogs might find a way through.
The village pub is about a mile and a half walk. It does food. The nearest shop is in Maybole, two miles away.
For walking, the Ayrshire Coastal Path is close. You can see Arran across the water on a clear day. Turnberry golf course is about a ten-minute drive. Culzean Castle is maybe fifteen minutes. It's a National Trust for Scotland property, good for a wander.
Ayr is a traditional seaside town, about twenty minutes by car. If you want a bigger day out, Galloway Forest Park is under an hour's drive. Glasgow is just over an hour if you need a city.
In the cottage, there's a washing machine, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
