The Brewers Cottage is in Crosshill, South Ayrshire. It's on its own but next to our farmhouse, on a quiet lane. It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and each has its own bathroom. That's handy.
It has a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. There's also parking and an electric vehicle charger if you need it.
Outside, there's a private hot tub. It's in a fenced garden so it's sheltered. You also share a tennis court and a croquet lawn with the other cottage. It works fine.
You can walk to a pub and a restaurant, about a mile and a half away. The nearest shop is in Maybole, two miles away.
The area is good for walking. The Ayrshire Coastal Path is just over a mile from here. It follows the coast for miles. You get good views of Arran across the water. The River Ayr Way is also close if you prefer inland walking.
For golf, you're in the right place. Turnberry is about a 15 minute drive. Royal Troon is about 25 minutes away.
There are a few big attractions within half an hour. Culzean Castle is spectacular. The Galloway Forest Park is a large, wild area about a 20 minute drive away. It's a Dark Sky Park, so the stars are very clear on a good night.
You can get to Ayr, a traditional seaside town, in under 15 minutes. Glasgow and the ferry terminals for Arran are about an hour's drive.
You can bring up to two dogs. We provide bedding and towels.
