Trelaw
Trelaw is a detached cottage near Sinclairston in Ayrshire. It's in a farming area, quite rural and quiet. You have your own garden which is fully enclosed. There's a hot tub in the garden. We leave robes and slippers for you.
The cottage sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The layout is all on one level, so it's accessible if you need it to be. The floors are tiled, which is good for dogs. We allow one pet. There's even an outdoor tap and bath for washing muddy paws.
On the farm, there's a private fishing loch you can use. It's also good for paddle boarding if you have your own kit. You can walk around the farm tracks.
For kids, there's a welcome pack, a cot, highchair, and some outdoor games like a slide and trike. For everyone, there's table tennis, swingball, croquet, that sort of thing. They're in the shed.
The location is good for getting out. The coast at Ayr, Prestwick or Troon is about a 20 minute drive. There are beaches and links golf courses. Culzean Castle is about half an hour away, it's on the cliffs and the grounds are good for a walk. Dumfries House is a similar distance, another big estate to explore.
Further afield, Galloway Forest Park is about 30 minutes by car. It's a huge area for walking and they're famous for dark skies at night. The ferries to Arran or to Cumbrae are also within reach for a day trip.
In the cottage, there's a woodburning stove, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
