Cart Shed
This place is called the Cart Shed. It's a detached cottage near Mauchline in Ayrshire. It used to be part of an old farm. There are 4 acres of woodland around it, so it's very quiet.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One is a double with doors out to the patio. The other is a twin with its own en-suite shower room. There's also a family bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath. It has a 5 Star rating, so everything is in good order.
The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher. There's a washing machine too. Underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove keep it warm. The whole place is on one level, which is good for accessibility, and there's parking right there.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed, which helps. Bedding and towels are included.
It's a rural spot. The closest pub, shop, and restaurant are about a mile and a half away in the village. For walking, the River Ayr Way is nearby. The Ayrshire Coastal Path is also within easy reach if you want a proper coastal walk.
Golf is a big thing around here, with quite a few courses locally. The coast and fishing spots are about a 30-minute drive. You can get to Ayr or the Culzean Castle estate, which is National Trust for Scotland, in that sort of time too. Dumfries House is even closer.
