The Golden Crown is a big house in Tarbolton village. It's semi-detached. It sleeps twenty-six people, mostly in seven bedrooms. There are four bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main thing is, it's set up for groups. There's a hot tub and a sauna outside, and a steam room inside. The lounge has a big cinema screen. You can book catering and spa treatments directly with us beforehand, if you want everything done for you.
Location wise, you've got a shop and a pub about 250 yards up the road. The village is known for its Robert Burns connection. The Bachelors' Club, where he started a debating society, is a National Trust for Scotland property here.
For getting out, the Ayrshire Coastal Path is right there. You can get to the River Ayr Way walk easily too. If you drive for about half an hour, you can get to the Galloway Forest Park, which is huge. It's also a Dark Sky Park, if you're into stargazing.
The Ayrshire coast is about eight miles away. The towns of Ayr, Troon, and Prestwick are close, with train links to Glasgow. Famous golf courses like Royal Troon and Turnberry are nearby. Culzean Castle and Dumfries House are both worth a visit.
In terms of what's there: all the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a cot and highchair. The garden is enclosed. There's parking and bike storage. No pets, sorry.
