This is the Golden Crown Suite in Tarbolton. It's on one level, so the entrance and main rooms are all wheelchair accessible if you need that.
It's listed as sleeping four, but really it's one main bedroom with a big bed. There's a sofa bed in the lounge area for extra guests. The main thing is the spa. You've got your own hot tub, sauna and steam room in a private area just for you. They provide robes and some spa products to use.
There are three shower rooms. It sounds excessive, but it means everyone can get ready easily if you have visitors. The kitchen is compact, it's got what you need for basics. There's a dining table.
You're allowed to invite up to six extra people to come and use the spa facilities with you, but they have to leave by 9pm.
The village shop and a pub are about five minutes walk away. The coast at Troon is about a 20 minute drive. There's a golf course nearby, and you can go horse riding locally too.
For wider trips, Ayr is about 20 minutes away. You can get into the Southern Uplands for walking or down to the Ayrshire coastal path. The National Trust's Culzean Castle is about half an hour's drive.
What's included: all the bedding and towels, WiFi, and the electricity for the spa and everything is in the price. There's a dishwasher. No pets.
