Jemima Cottage
Jemima Cottage is in a place called Newtown, near St Martin's on the Lizard. It's a converted Victorian barn, set back off a quiet lane. There's another cottage attached to it, but that's rented separately so you won't be disturbed. The owners live on the farm here with their dogs, it's a retirement thing for them.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's an open plan living area downstairs.
You've got your own patio and garden area. The property is set in about 14 acres of their land, with fields and woodland and a little stream. There are horses, chickens, and ducks around. The owner has a model railway set up in the orchard, which is a bit different.
You're right on the Lizard Peninsula. It's very quiet. The wooded coastline and the Helford River are close by for walking. The coast path is some of the best in the south-west. There are several National Trust gardens and sheltered sandy coves within a short drive.
In terms of practical stuff: all bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking. It's family friendly, we provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. No pets, I'm afraid.
