Tamarisk is in Coverack on the Lizard Peninsula. It used to be part of an old hotel. The building is on Chynhalls Point, so the views out to sea are very good. You can't see anything else but the sea from the front.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. We had it refurbished a few years ago so it's in decent shape. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The grounds are large. There's a shared sandy beach just down from the property and a shared outdoor tennis court. A path leads down to the village of Coverack, which is about half a mile away. It's a proper fishing village. There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant there. The beach in Coverack is sandy and shingle.
You're right on the coast path for walking. The area is protected by the National Trust. It's good for birdwatching.
Within a half hour drive you've got places like Roskilly's Farm for ice cream, the Goonhilly satellite station, and Mullion golf course. Plenty of other coves and beaches are nearby too.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
