Tamarisk is in Coverack, on the Lizard. It's part of a big old Edwardian hotel that was converted. You'll be in the apartment itself, but the gardens and grounds are shared with a few other holiday lets.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's been recently done up to a good standard. We refurbished it in 2018.
The main thing is the view. It's on Chynhalls Point and looks straight out to sea. It's a proper panoramic view, really good. There's a path that goes down to Coverack village, which takes about ten minutes on foot. They've got a shop, a pub, and a restaurant down there.
The shared grounds are a big plus. There's a sandy beach on the site itself, which is handy. There's also an outdoor tennis court anyone can use. The whole headland is owned by the National Trust, so the coastal walks right from the door are excellent.
Inside, it's open plan. You've got all the basics: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. We accept one well-behaved dog.
For things to do, Roskilly's Farm is worth a visit for their ice cream. Goonhilly satellite station is about three miles away if that's your sort of thing. Mullion golf course is a 20-minute drive. You're in a good spot to explore the rest of the Lizard's coves. The Visit The Lizard site has more ideas.
Parking is on site.
