Buzzard Barn is near Newtown in St Martin, Cornwall. It's one of two cottages converted from an old barn. They’re next to each other but you have your own place.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There are two bathrooms which is handy. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well looked after.
You’re right in the middle of the Lizard Peninsula. It’s quiet here, down a lane. The cottages sit in about 14 acres of fields and woods with a small stream at the bottom. The owners live on the farm with their dogs. They keep horses, chickens and ducks. There’s a model railway in the orchard.
The coast isn't far. You can drive to several good beaches and coves in under ten minutes. The Helford River is close by and the coastal walks there are some of the best. For gardens, the National Trust Cornwall page is useful. Trebah and Glendurgan are nearby.
Helston is about ten miles away for bigger shops. Falmouth is further, about twenty-three miles.
Inside, it’s open plan. There’s a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. There’s a stairgate at the top. The garden is yours to use. No pets, I’m afraid.
