This is Honeysuckle Cottage. It's near White Cross, a few miles inland from the coast in South Cornwall. It's a single-storey place for two people, with one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place feels new and clean inside.
You park right outside the door in your own parking spot. There's a small enclosed courtyard out the front with a table and chairs. You can use the BBQ. The patio doors go straight into the main living area.
The bedroom is off the living room. It has a double bed and a TV on the wall. The bathroom is big and has a good shower.
It's quiet here. You're in the countryside but the sea isn't far. By car, it's about ten minutes to some beaches. There's also a footpath from the cottage through a private field that gets you to Gunwalloe beach. That walk is nicer but a bit longer.
You're well placed for the Lizard peninsula. The Lizard Point itself is the most southerly bit of the UK. The coastal walks there are very good. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can see the lighthouse. The National Trust Penrose area is nearby for walking as well.
Helston is about five miles away for shops and supermarkets. Porthleven has a good harbour and some restaurants. Falmouth is about a half hour drive. That's where you'll find the maritime museum and Pendennis Castle, which is looked after by English Heritage.
In terms of what's here, there's Wi-Fi, TV, parking, and all your bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. We provide a cot and a high chair if you need them.
