Ballantine's No 29 is a bungalow on the Lizard peninsula, in Ruan Major. It's on a plot with a mix of permanent homes and other holiday lets, so please be mindful of the neighbours.
It sleeps four. Two small bedrooms, one bathroom. The lounge has a dining area next to it. The kitchen is small. There's no washing machine or dryer on site. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and simple, a good affordable base rather than a luxury place.
You're a short drive from some great beaches. Poldhu Cove is good for swimming and surfing, with soft sand. It's popular with families. Kynance Cove is on National Trust land and is stunning, but it's a bit of a walk down and is tidal, so you need to check the times. The coast path here is excellent for walking and you might spot seals.
Mullion village is nearby with shops and a harbour. If the weather's bad, Mullion Meadows has a chocolate factory and craft centre you can visit. The most southerly point at Lizard Point is about three miles away, with the lighthouse, a small beach, and cafes.
For facilities: bedding and towels are included, there's on-site parking, and the entrance is wheelchair accessible. No pets, sorry.
