This is 19 Headland Cottages in Coverack. It’s a mid-terrace cottage, part of a row behind the old Headland Hotel. The building is about a hundred years old. It’s got a 3 Star rating.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. The stairs are normal. Two dogs are allowed.
You can walk out the front door, turn right into the shared gardens, and the view from there is fantastic. You can sit on one of the benches. One bedroom looks out towards the headland, the others look over the gardens.
It’s a two-minute walk to get onto the Coastal Path. Mears Beach is about an eight-minute walk downhill. The village and harbour are a short stroll down the headland. There’s a shop, a pub, a couple of places to eat, and a fish and chip shop.
If you want to drive out, the Lizard point is just over ten miles. Helston is about twelve miles away, that’s the nearest proper town. It has a museum and the Cornish Seal Sanctuary. For gardens, Trebah and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within half an hour. Lands End is further, about an hour’s drive.
Facilities: there’s parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and a stairgate if you need them. The entrance and shower are wheelchair accessible.
