Wells
Wells is a cottage over at Moorleaze, near Witham Friary. It's part of a small group of places on a 40-acre site. The grounds have farmland, woods, and two lakes. One of the lakes has carp you can feed by hand. We get a lot of wildlife around like deer, hares, and buzzards.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been recently refurbished and everything's in good order. Some of it is open plan.
The cottage is on one level, so no stairs to worry about. You get your own patio and garden area. There's parking right outside and an electric vehicle charger.
On the site itself, there's an indoor swimming pool, a games room, a tennis court, and a kids' play area. We provide a cot, a highchair, and a stairgate if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.
In the village, about five minutes' walk away, there's a pub and a children's playground. The nearest proper shops are about six miles away in Frome.
You're right on the border of Somerset, Dorset, and Wiltshire here. Longleat is very close. Stourhead is only a few minutes' drive. For walking, you've got the Mendip Hills and Cheddar Gorge nearby.
Bath, Wells, Glastonbury, and Stonehenge are all within a 30-minute drive. Salisbury and the coast at Dorset are a bit further, maybe 45 minutes to an hour.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. We also have a BBQ.
