Glastonbury
This place is called Glastonbury, but it's actually in Witham Friary. It's on a 40-acre farm with fields, woods, and two lakes. You get proper countryside views.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's had a full refurbishment, so everything is clean and works. It's got a 5 Star rating.
The grounds are the main thing. There's wildlife about. We get deer and hares. You can walk around the land. One of the lakes has carp in it, but they're for feeding, not fishing.
On site, there's an indoor swimming pool, a games room, and a tennis court. There's a kids' play area outside. We've got a BBQ and an electric vehicle charger. Parking is right there.
The village pub is a few minutes' walk away. It's a proper local. The village was used for that TV programme, Building the Dream.
You're well placed for days out. Longleat is about 15 minutes by car. Stourhead is even closer, it's a National Trust place. Bath is roughly 40 minutes. Frome is about 20 minutes and has a good market. You can get to Glastonbury, Wells, or the Mendip Hills in under half an hour.
