Wookey
This is Wookey. It's one of three cottages here at Moorleaze, near Witham Friary.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It has a 5 Star rating, which means everything is to a high standard and it's very well equipped.
You're in the countryside here. We've got 40 acres of land with lakes, fields and woodland. You'll see deer and hares from the window. There are birds like buzzards and owls. One of the lakes has carp you can feed.
The cottage is all on one level, which is good if stairs are a problem. It's open plan inside. There's underfloor heating, a wood burner, and a patio with a barbecue outside.
For facilities on site, there's an indoor heated swimming pool, a games room with table tennis, and a tennis court. There's also a play area for children. We have an electric vehicle charger. Bedding and towels are included.
You can bring up to two dogs.
The village of Witham Friary is a short walk away. It has a pub and a children's playground. For shops, you'll need to drive to Frome or Bruton, which are about six miles.
You're well placed for visiting things. Longleat is very close. Stourhead is just down the road. Bath, Wells, Glastonbury and the Mendip Hills are all within about half an hour's drive. Stonehenge is around 45 minutes away.
