This is Moorleaze. It's a small development of holiday cottages, near the village of Witham Friary. The cottages are made of local stone, they've been fully refurbished and they're rated 5 Star. It's comfortable and modern inside, but the setting is completely rural.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. Two well-behaved pets are welcome.
The main thing is the space. You're on a 40-acre site with fields, some woodland, an orchard, and two lakes. The views are all countryside. Wildlife is common. You'll see deer and hares in the fields. Buzzards and owls are around. The lower lake has carp you can feed.
The village pub is a few minutes' walk away. It's a proper local and it does food. The village playground is close by too.
On site, there's an indoor swimming pool, a games room, a tennis court, and a kids' play area. Your own cottage will have a garden or patio, parking, and an electric vehicle charger if you need it. Everything is included: bedding, towels, electricity.
For days out, you're right on the border of Somerset, Dorset, and Wiltshire. Longleat is about 15 minutes away by car. Stourhead, which is National Trust, is maybe 10 minutes. National Trust Stourhead.
Bath is roughly 40 minutes. Wells, Glastonbury, and Frome are all within half an hour. Salisbury Plain, Stonehenge, and the Mendip Hills, including Cheddar Gorge, are also within that 30-minute drive.
