Pheasant Pens 2 is a ground-floor place near Llandenny, between Usk and Raglan. It's one of two cottages here, converted from old farm buildings. You look out over a field where there's usually a pony.
It sleeps three people. There's a double bedroom and a single bedroom, and one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's on one level so it's pretty straightforward.
The living area is open-plan, with the kitchen at one end. It's got an electric hob and oven, a fridge with a small freezer bit, and a microwave. There's a stable door that opens onto a shared grassed area with a table and chairs.
You're on a working farm, so it's quiet. The pub in Llandenny village is about a minute's drive away, it does food. Usk is a few miles one way, Raglan is a few miles the other. Usk is nice for a wander and has a castle. Raglan Castle is the big one round here, it's a proper ruin you can explore.
You're well placed for the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean, they're about half an hour by car. The Brecon Beacons are a bit further, maybe 40 minutes depending on where you're heading. Good for walking.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, bedding and towels are included, and you can park right outside. There's storage if you bring bikes. No pets allowed.
