Seaside Retreat
Seaside Retreat is a static caravan on a holiday park on South Hayling. It’s not a cottage. It’s one of many on the park.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There’s one bathroom, plus a toilet in the main bedroom. It’s got a 3 Star rating, so it’s clean and everything works, but it’s not luxurious. The living area is open plan.
You have your own patio area and two parking spaces next to the caravan. Bedding and towels are included. There's a TV and WiFi.
The holiday park has its own facilities, like a kids' play area. You can buy a pass to use things like the swimming pool if you want to.
The beach is a short walk away. It's a shingle beach, not sand. It's good for walking and windsurfing. The local pub is about a ten minute walk.
Hayling Island is fairly quiet. The Hayling Billy Trail is good for a bike ride or a walk. If you want to go further, Portsmouth is about twenty minutes by car. You can get the ferry over to Gosport from there, or visit the Historic Dockyard. The South Downs National Park is about half an hour’s drive.
