The Kestrel is in Red Craig, Aberdeenshire. It's a mobile lodge on a small, quiet park right next to the River Findhorn. It's detached, so it's just you and the riverbank.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms: one double and one with two singles. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and everything works. The living space is all open plan.
You can park right outside. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
The location is the main thing here. You're on the river. You can sit out the front with a coffee and watch it go by. It's very quiet. If you like fishing, you're pretty much there. The coast is about a 20-minute drive.
Forres is the nearest town, just a few minutes by car. It's got shops, pubs, and places to eat. There are golf courses nearby, including the Moray Golf Club.
If you want to explore, you're not far from some good places. Brodie Castle is worth a look. The Speyside whisky distilleries, like Glenfiddich, are within a half hour's drive. For a bigger day out, the Cairngorms National Park is about 30 minutes away.
There are a few other lodges on the same park. They can be booked together if you're coming with a bigger group.
