Willow Studio Rafford

Willow Studio is in Rafford, near Forres. It's a lodge, one of six on a working farm. You look out over a big paddock with some trees and ponds.

It sleeps three. There's one bedroom area and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's warm and clean, built from local materials. The bed is a king size but it can be split into twins if you ask. The living space is all open plan, with a kitchenette. The shower is a walk-in one.

You share a veranda with the lodges next door. It's quiet here, good if you need to work or just want to be away from things. They have an on-site chef who can cook for groups if you book it.

The nearest pub or restaurant is about two and a half miles away. For a beach, you're looking at seven or eight miles to the Moray Firth coast. Findhorn village is close, and Forres town has shops. You can get to Inverness or Aberdeen from here.

You're well placed for day trips. Speyside and the whisky trail are on your doorstep. The Cairngorms National Park is about half an hour's drive. If you head towards the coast, there are good walks and lots of castles to visit.

Facilities: all your bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and parking right outside. One well-behaved dog is allowed. There's a washing machine. The garden area is the shared veranda.
