This is Oak Studio. It's in Rafford, which is in Moray, about halfway between Inverness and Aberdeen. It's a one bedroom studio that sleeps three. The one bathroom is a wet room, so it's fully accessible and has grab rails. It's got a 3 Star rating.
The space is all open plan. There's a kingsize bed that can be made into twins if you ask beforehand. The big windows look out over a paddock with some trees and ponds. It's very quiet. It's built from local materials and is well insulated, so it stays warm.
Outside, there's a veranda you share with the studio next door. Parking is right there. You can bring one dog. Bedding and towels are included. There's wifi.
The nearest pub and shops are about two and a half miles away in Forres. The Moray coast is about seven or eight miles. The beaches there are really good for walks. Forres itself is an old town, and Findhorn village is nearby.
You're in a good spot for getting around. Speyside with all the distilleries is on your doorstep. The Cairngorms National Park is under half an hour's drive for walking or skiing in winter. Aberdeenshire and its castles are to the east, and the Highlands start not far to the west. Inverness is about 40 minutes, Aberdeen about an hour.
There are five other properties on the same site, so it works if you've got a bigger group wanting to stay near each other. They can arrange catering if you're all here together.
