Ben Wyvis Lawrenceton

This is Ben Wyvis. It's a detached lodge on a big estate near Forres. There's another one, Ben Klibreck, next door. They're on their own in the middle of about a thousand acres. You can book them together if you've got a bigger group.

It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. The layout is open plan. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Everything's included, like bedding and towels.

The main thing is the view. You look right out over the Moray Firth and Findhorn Bay. It's all you can see from the living area and the deck. There's a private hot tub out on the deck as well.

The estate is a working farm, so you can walk straight out into the grounds. The beach at Burghead is about four and a half miles away. It's clean sand. For a shop or a pub, you need to go into Forres, which is five miles.

If you like golf, there are courses all over the place here. There's local fishing too. The Dallas Dhu distillery is literally at the end of the drive, if that's your sort of thing.

You can bring one dog. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
