The Finch Red Craig

The Finch is a mobile lodge in a small park by the River Findhorn, near Forres. It's detached, so you've got your own space. The park itself is quiet and looks out over fields and the river.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms: one double and one with two singles. There's one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and everything works. It's not huge, but it's well laid out. The living area is open plan with the kitchen.

You can bring one dog. There's parking right outside.

Being right on the river is the main thing. You can sit out with a coffee and watch it, or walk along the bank from the park. There's a kids' play area on site too.

Forres is a couple of miles away for shops and pubs. The coast, like Findhorn Bay, is about a ten minute drive. It's good for a walk or if you want to see the sea.

If you like golf, Moray Golf Club in Lossiemouth is about twenty minutes away. For history, Brodie Castle is close by and worth a visit. If you're into whisky, you're on the edge of Speyside. Benromach distillery is in Forres itself, and others like Glenfiddich are within half an hour.
