Trinity Cottage is on a side street off the main road into Abergavenny. It's a terraced cottage, mid-terrace. The garden is out the back, it's walled.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are a bit winding, just so you know.
The kitchen has everything you'd need, including a dishwasher. There's a smart TV and wifi. You park right outside the front door.
Abergavenny town centre is about a five minute walk. There's a good Waitrose, and the market is on Tuesdays. Plenty of pubs and places to eat. The castle grounds are nice for a wander.
You're right on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The Sugar Loaf mountain is a popular walk from the town. The Usk Valley walk is easy and flat if you want something gentler. For a bigger walk, Pen y Fan is about a 40 minute drive.
Crickhowell is a nice little town about fifteen minutes drive away. Raglan Castle is worth a visit, that's about twenty minutes. Hay-on-Wye is under an hour if you like bookshops.
It's a good spot if you want to walk and then come back to a proper town for a meal. The cottage is clean and warm. You can bring up to two dogs.
