Draig's Cottage is in Abergavenny town centre. It's a small two-up-two-down in a quiet courtyard with a gate. Sleeps four.
You park on the street out front, which is free. Then you walk through the gate into the courtyard, which is shared. It's a quiet spot. The front door takes you straight into the living room. The kitchen's through there.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms and a family bathroom. One double room, one twin room. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-kept. The WiFi works fine.
The location is the main thing. You're 50 yards from the high street. There's a shop, a few cafes, and a pub that does food just around the corner. The pub sometimes has live music on a Sunday.
If you like walking or cycling, you're in the right place. The town is surrounded by hills. You can walk up the Sugarloaf from here. The Blorenge is just the other side of town. The Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains are a short drive. The National Trust Sugarloaf page has walking info.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, towels are provided, and there's bike storage in the shed. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's a small BBQ you can use in the courtyard.
