Tyr Ywen Cottage is on our smallholding just outside Abergavenny. It's got views of the Sugarloaf mountain.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating because it was all newly done up in 2021. It's very clean and everything works. The layout is all on one level, so it's good for wheelchair access. There's a ramp to the front door.
Inside, it's open plan. The kitchen has a dishwasher, a washing machine, and one of those Nespresso coffee machines. The living room has big glass doors that look out at the view. There's a wood burner. The patio doors have electric blinds.
Outside, there's an enclosed patio with a hot tub, a barbecue, and some furniture. You can park two cars under a carport. There's an electric vehicle charger there too. If you bring bikes, there's a lockable bike rack.
We've got about 31 acres here. If you wanted to bring your own horse, we could probably sort out a paddock. You'd just need to ask us first.
Abergavenny is about three miles away. It's a proper market town with good shops and places to eat. The Sugarloaf and Usk Valley is right on the doorstep for walking. You're close to the Skirrid and the Blorenge as well. Cyclists know the road up to the Tumble.
You're on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Offa's Dyke Path and the Usk Valley Walk are nearby. If you like riding, there are local stables.
For facilities, it's all there. Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and a smart TV. No pets, sorry.
