Rhona's Cottage

Rhona's Cottage is in Abergavenny town. It’s a terrace house, set back from the main road. You can walk into town for a coffee or to the pub.

It sleeps four across three bedrooms. That’s two doubles and one bunk room. There’s one family bathroom, which has a shower over the bath. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it’s clean and comfortable.

The living area is open plan. There’s a wood burner, which works well. The stairs are cottage stairs, so mind your head on the way up.

The garden is a patio. It’s walled and gets the sun in the morning.

You can bring up to two dogs. No charge for them.

Abergavenny town is about a ten minute walk. There’s a Waitrose, and plenty of pubs and cafes. The famous Abergavenny Food Festival is on in September. That's a busy weekend.

The Sugar Loaf is right on the edge of town. You can walk up it from the door. The views from the top are good.

The National Trust looks after parts of it. For something bigger, the Brecon Beacons National Park is about half an hour’s drive. Pen y Fan is there. Monmouth is a similar distance, which is a nice historic town.

Included in the cottage: bedding and towels, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. We've put a cot and highchair there, and there’s a stairgate at the top. There’s bike storage in the shed out the back.
