Zebra House is in Blaenavon. It's a terraced house in the middle of the row, so you get neighbours, but it's the end terrace so you've got the side garden to yourselves. The view from the front is over the street.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one shower room upstairs and a separate toilet. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The stairs are a typical terraced house staircase, straight up but a bit narrow.
The kitchen is open plan with a dining area. There's a room off it we call the dogs' room, which is handy for muddy boots or wet dogs. The lounge has a wood burner. There's another room with board games and things to do.
The garden is enclosed. It's got a patio and a lawn, and there's a summerhouse you can use for storage. You can use the barbecue.
Blaenavon is a World Heritage Site. The history is all around. The Big Pit is the main attraction, you can go down the mine. The Ironworks are here too, and there's a heritage railway.
You're right on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. The Blorenge mountain is just there for walking. The Keeper's Pond is up there, some people swim in it. Garn Lakes are a short drive for a easier walk.
The Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal is about a 15 minute drive away at Pontypool. You can walk along it or hire a boat. Abergavenny is about 20 minutes by car for shops and more places to eat. There's a pub within a mile of the house.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. We have a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. We take up to three pets.
