Zebra House is in Blaenavon. It's a terraced house on a residential street. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. The bathroom has a shower, and there's a separate toilet. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.
Downstairs is mostly open plan. There's a kitchen and dining area, then a living room with a wood burner. There's also a small room off the back we use for dogs, but you can use it for coats and boots. It has a selection of games and books.
There's a decent sized garden with a patio and a barbecue. There's a summerhouse at the end which you can use for storage.
Blaenavon itself is a World Heritage Site because of the ironworks. The Big Pit is here, which is a proper coal mine you can go down. The Blaenavon Ironworks is worth a look too. There's a heritage railway as well.
You're right on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. The Blorenge mountain is just behind the town. A lot of people walk up there to the Keepers Pond for the view. Garn Lakes are nearby for a flatter walk.
The Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal is about a 20-minute drive away in Pontypool. You can walk along it or hire a boat.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. The place is dog friendly, up to three. There's a pub within a mile.
