It's called the Mini Lodge. It's on Daisy Bank Caravan Park, which is ours. The park is in Snead, right on the border between Shropshire and Powys, so you're in Mid Wales.
It's a brand new, detached lodge for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. The shower's good and powerful. It's open plan, so the kitchen and living area are all one space. There are patio doors that open onto your own terrace with a couple of chairs.
The park is adult-only and set in about seven acres. It's quiet. You can keep to yourselves or have a chat with other guests if you want. The views are over the Shropshire countryside.
You get all the basics: WiFi, TV, a dishwasher, bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
For a shop, Church Stoke is two miles away. It has a supermarket, a butchers, and a post office. Bishops Castle is a proper little market town about ten minutes in the car. It's got good independent shops and two microbreweries, The Three Tuns and The Six Bells, which are worth a visit if you like that sort of thing.
If you're walking, you're spoilt for choice. The Shropshire Hills are right there. Church Stretton, Clun, and Bishops Castle itself are all hubs for walking routes. For a day out, Ludlow is about half an hour away. It's known for food and has a good castle. Ironbridge, with all its industrial history museums, is also within a 30 minute drive.
