This place is called Miller Time. It's a detached house in Croy, about five miles east of Nairn. It used to be a show home, so it's decorated nicely and everything feels quite new.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. Two doubles and one twin. There are two toilets, one on the ground floor, and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath upstairs. The master bedroom has its own ensuite shower.
Downstairs is all open plan. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher and washing machine. The living area is big, and there's an extra room off it that you could use as a quiet sitting area. The WiFi works fine.
Outside, there's a patio and garden area. You can park on the drive.
It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well finished. It's not remote, it's in a residential area, but it's quiet and you've got your own space.
Nairn is about ten minutes drive away. It's a proper town with shops and a long sandy beach. There are two golf courses there. Cawdor Castle is very close, maybe five minutes in the car.
Inverness is under half an hour's drive. You've got the castle and the museum there. Fort George is a bit further on, past the airport. It's a big old fort right on the coast and is good for a walk.
Loch Ness is about 40 minutes from here. You can drive down the east side or go via Inverness. Urquhart Castle is there on the banks. If you want to go into the Cairngorms, Aviemore is about 40 minutes south.
