Doodles Holiday Home Eyemouth

Doodles Holiday Home is in Eyemouth, a fishing town on the coast. It's a terraced house, not a cottage. You're right on a residential street, a few minutes' walk from the harbour.

It sleeps six. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are upstairs. They're double bedrooms, so it's best for two couples or a family. Downstairs on the lower ground floor there's another sitting room with a sofa bed.

The place has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well equipped. The stairs inside are the normal sort for a house like this.

The beach is about 300 yards away. It's a mix of sand and rock pools. The town has shops, cafes, and a couple of pubs. The local museum is good if you're interested in the fishing history.

For a proper coastal walk, St Abb's Head is about a ten minute drive away. It's a National Nature Reserve. The cliffs and the sea views are excellent. You can also walk part of the Berwickshire Coastal Path from Eyemouth.

If you want to go further, the Northumberland coast is about half an hour south. You can get to Berwick-upon-Tweed in 15 minutes, Coldstream in about 25, and Edinburgh is around an hour's drive.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and parking for one car on the street outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
