This is Apple. It's a studio apartment in Camerton, Somerset, part of a site called Pinecone Lodges. Sleeps two.
It's a first-floor studio. One room with a super king bed, a kitchen area, and a shower room. There's a veranda with a couple of chairs outside.
The main thing is the shared facilities on site. There's an outdoor heated swimming pool with its own changing room. A cinema room. A games room. An enclosed play area for kids with swings and a slide. A sun terrace and a barbecue area.
You can bring one dog. There's an enclosed paddock where they can run about. Other dogs might be on site, so you need to keep yours on a lead outside that paddock. They give you a little welcome pack for the dog.
It's a 4 Star place. It's comfortable and has what you need. They take an £80 security deposit a week before you arrive, refunded after you leave if everything's alright.
Location wise, Camerton is a quiet village. It feels rural but you're only about eight miles from the centre of Bath. You can drive in or get the bus. Bath has the Roman Baths, the Abbey, all the Georgian architecture, and the shops. Glastonbury and its Tor are about a 45-minute drive. Longleat Safari Park is roughly half an hour away by car.
The site has river walks from the property. For more walking, the National Trust has places like Stourhead about an hour's drive. The Visit Somerset site is good for other ideas.
Facilities included: parking, WiFi, bedding and towels, TV, the pool, the play area, the hot tub, and the barbecue.
