Magnolia Lodge is one of ours. It's in Camerton, Somerset. You're a few miles south of Bath here. It's a Scandinavian style lodge. Detached.
It sleeps six, which is two bedrooms. A kingsize and a twin room. One bathroom.
The main thing is that it's on a small site with a few other lodges. It's not huge, but it's quiet. The lodge has its own decking area that looks out over a field that runs down to the river Cam Brook. There's a shared garden and an outdoor heated swimming pool. It's open in the summer months. There's a cinema room and a kids' play area with swings and a trampoline.
Inside, it's open plan. Kitchen with a breakfast bar, living area with a TV and a gas fire that looks like a wood burner. It's rated 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well equipped. Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi.
You can bring one dog. There's an enclosed paddock on the site where you can let them off the lead. They ask you keep dogs on a lead elsewhere on site because other guests might have theirs. They provide a little welcome pack for the dog.
Parking is right by the lodge. There's a hot tub on the deck. There's also a barbecue.
Location wise, Bath is about eight miles north. That's where you go for the Roman Baths, shopping, restaurants. The National Trust has a few properties around there too, like the American Museum. Glastonbury is about a 25 minute drive south. Longleat is roughly half an hour's drive east. If you want to walk, the Two Tunnels Greenway starts not far from here, which is a traffic-free path into Bath.
They take a refundable security deposit of £80, a week before you arrive. You get it back after you leave, assuming no damage.
