Sea Breeze Cottage Lochranza

Sea Breeze Cottage is in Lochranza, on the north end of Arran. It's a detached place, small but on its own patch. You can see the Kilbrannan Sound from the front.

It's for four people. There's one proper bedroom with a double bed, and the sofa in the living area folds out into another double. So it's fine for a family, or two couples if you don't mind sharing the one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well looked after.

The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. We take up to two. Inside, it's all open plan downstairs. The kitchen's in that space too. It's got a dishwasher and a washing machine.

Lochranza has a castle ruin right on the loch, and the Arran distillery is here if you like whisky. There's a pub and a shop. The beach is about a mile down the road.

For getting out, you're on the edge of the hills. Goatfell is the big one, if you're up for it. Brodick Castle is about a 25 minute drive south. The Machrie Moor standing stones are about a 30 minute drive on the other side of the island.
