Croftbank is a bungalow near Lochranza on Arran. It's on one level, which is useful. You get the whole place to yourselves. There's a garden with a summerhouse and a firepit. The reason you'd book it is the view. It looks straight out over the water to Lochranza Castle, and the sunsets from the sitting room are very good.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms, and each bedroom has its own bathroom with a shower. That's handy if you've got a few people. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. There are two wood burners, so you can get it really cosy in the evenings.
You're about 50 yards from the beach. It's pebbly. The local shop and the pub are both in the village, a short walk away. The pub does meals. The Isle of Arran Distillery is here in Lochranza too, if you want a tour.
For getting around, the ferry from Lochranza goes over to Kintyre. It's useful for a day trip. If you want a proper walk, the Arran Coastal Way goes right past. There's a nine-hole golf course nearby. Brodick Castle is about a half hour drive, maybe a bit less. The mountain, Goatfell, is about the same.
In terms of what's here: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
