It's called Fantasia, but that's a bit grand. It's just one of the new houses at Stony Cross, near Cradley. It's all on one level, which is useful.
It sleeps ten, but in three bedrooms and a couple of extra spaces. The three bedrooms are all kingsize beds. There's a small twin room, and then a sort of pod area with twin beds screened off. That bit's good for kids, or if someone wants to get away from the group. There are two bathrooms, one is an en-suite to the main bedroom.
The main thing is the space. There's a big kitchen and dining area with an island. The table expands. Then there's a separate round room – they call it The Turret – with sofas, a sofa bed, a little bar area, and table football. It's a good room if some want to watch telly and others want to play a game.
Outside, you have a small private courtyard with a table and chairs. Then there's a shared grassy paddock area with outdoor furniture and a firepit that you can also use as a BBQ. There are some chickens wandering about. They're friendly.
The Red Lion pub in the village does decent food. Cradley has a shop. Malvern is about four miles away for bigger shops and takeaways.
You're right on the edge of the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can walk up onto the hills from the house. The National Trust land is nearby. Ledbury is a nice town about ten minutes drive. Worcester is about twenty minutes. The Morgan factory in Malvern is worth a visit if you like cars.
Facilities: it's got the things you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can take up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
