The Old Greenhouse is in East Barkwith, Lincolnshire. It's on a working farm, but it's a completely detached place. You're not sharing any walls.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. That's handy. The rating is 4 Star, which means it's well looked after and comfortable. It's a new conversion, so everything works as it should.
It's open plan downstairs, with the kitchen, living area, and dining all in one space. There's a patio door that leads out to a good-sized garden. It's all yours to use. The views are over the fields. It's very quiet.
A few things to know. The Wi-Fi is fine for browsing, but it's a rural area so don't expect to stream on multiple devices at once. The water is from a private supply, so it might taste a bit different. It's perfectly safe. And because it's a farm, you'll see and hear tractors sometimes, especially during harvest.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
East Barkwith is small, but Lincoln is about a 25-minute drive. That's where you'll find the cathedral, the castle, and all the shops. The Lincolnshire Wolds are right on your doorstep for walking. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
If you're into history, you can get to Tattershall Castle in under half an hour. It's a National Trust property. The coast, around Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea, is also about a 30-minute drive.
No pets, I'm afraid.
