Honeysuckle Cottage Southgate

Honeysuckle Cottage is on our farm near Southgate on the Gower. It's a modern conversion from one of the old barns. You get your own garden and patio, and you can park a few cars.

It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.

The living room has books and games. In the kitchen-diner there's a piano and a big table. The road up to the farm is private and a bit bumpy, just so you know. I live on the farm with my horses, so you might see them going past. Because of the horses, we can't allow any pets in the cottage, sorry.

You can walk down to Pwll Du Bay beach from here in about ten minutes. Once you're on the coastal path you can get to other Gower beaches. Three Cliffs Bay is famous. For planning walks, the Gower Peninsula site is useful, as is Visit Wales Gower page.

If you drive, you can get to Swansea in about half an hour for bigger shops. The Gower has good golf courses. You're well placed for castles like Pennard or Oystermouth. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coast here.

You'll need a car. It's a proper rural spot, quiet and with views over the fields.
