Torbeg Farm Cottage Torbeg

Torbeg Farm Cottage is our place over on the Isle of Arran. It's a stone cottage on the farm, about a mile outside Blackwaterfoot village. We did it up a few years ago, so it's comfortable but it's still just a cottage.

It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. You can bring two dogs. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's parking right outside.

The main room has French doors that open into the walled courtyard. It gets the sun in the afternoon. We put in a wood burner so it's warm in the winter. The views from the bedrooms are just fields.

Blackwaterfoot is a mile down the road. It's got a good shop, a butcher, and a bakery. There's a pub that does food. The beach there is sandy and long. The golf course is right by the shore.

You're well placed for getting around the island. Brodick is about twenty minutes by car. The ferry terminal is there. Machrie Moor stone circles are a short drive away. The walking is good straight from the door, or you can drive into the hills.

In the cottage there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. We provide bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The courtyard is enclosed, so it's safe for kids and dogs. You can use the BBQ.
