Park House
Park House is in Torbeg, near Blackwaterfoot on Arran. It's a bungalow, so it's all on one level, which is handy. You get the whole garden to yourselves, it's fenced in, and it looks out over fields.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. One bathroom has a walk-in shower, which is good if stairs are a problem.
Blackwaterfoot village is about two minutes drive away. There's a shop, a couple of places to eat, a beach, a play park, and a golf club. The beach is shingle, but it's nice for a walk.
The place has central heating and a woodburning stove if you want it. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. We leave a cot, highchair, and stairgate there if you need them.
For things to do, you're right on the island. You can walk the Arran Coastal Way, go to the golf club, or just explore. The interior is mountainous if you're feeling energetic. You can get the ferry from Ardrossan to Brodick. The drive from Brodick to us is about 40 minutes, it's a nice route along the coast.
