Hollinhaven is in Blackwaterfoot, which is on the Isle of Arran. It's a detached house, so no neighbours sharing walls.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. The layout is a bit unusual. Half the house is downstairs, with two bedrooms and a bathroom. Then you go upstairs for the kitchen and living rooms. That's to get the views. The other half has its own staircase down from a second living room to a third bedroom and a shower room. It sounds complicated but it makes sense when you're there. It just means the kids can be in one living area and you can be in the other.
There's a wood burning stove in the main living room. It works well. The garden is a good size, and there's decking out the back. You can see the sea from there.
The beach is about a two minute walk. The village shop, a pub, and a restaurant are maybe three minutes away. Blackwaterfoot has a golf club and a hotel with a pool you can use.
For getting out, you're right on the coast for walks. The National Trust for Arran looks after a lot of it. Brodick Castle is about a twenty minute drive. The ferry to the mainland goes from there too.
What's here: washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, TV, cot, bedding and towels are included. Parking for two cars on the drive. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
