Pine Cottage is in Lix, near Killin. It's a detached one-level cottage in a small group of four. They're spaced well apart. You've got a lot of ground around you, mostly open garden.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, one double and one twin. There's one modern shower room. The rating is 3 Star, so it's comfortable but not luxurious. It's all on one floor, which is good if you don't want stairs.
The main room is open plan, with the living area, dining space, and a small kitchen off to the side. The kitchen has what you need. There's a wood burner in the living room. That leads into a conservatory. It's a good spot to sit and look out at the pine trees. You see deer and squirrels sometimes.
Outside there's a big garden with a table and chairs and a chimenea. It's very quiet.
You're right in The Trossachs National Park. The forest is all around you. Killin village is about five minutes away by car. It's got a shop, a couple of pubs, and the Falls of Dochart. Callander is about half an hour's drive. Ben More and Crianlarich are about twenty minutes away if you want to head into the mountains.
The facilities are straightforward: WiFi, TV, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. Parking is right there. You can bring one dog. There's local fishing and a golf course nearby.
