This is Loch Earn View Lodge, up in Lochearnhead. It’s in the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.
It’s a detached lodge, sleeps four. Two bedrooms: one double, one twin. The bathroom is standard. There's one parking space right outside.
The main thing is the view. The living area doors open onto a deck and you look straight out across Loch Earn to the hills. It’s a good spot to sit with a drink. Inside it's open plan, clean, and works fine. It’s a 4 Star place, so it’s comfortable. It’s all on one level.
The village has a shop about five minutes’ walk away. The local pub is a bit closer. They do food. Worth knowing some local hotels shut from November to March, but there are others open within a ten-minute drive.
If you like walking, you can start from the door. There's a gentle path along the loch shore, or you can drive to proper hill walks. The Rob Roy Way goes through here. For cycling, there's a 15-mile loop around the loch.
You’re on the loch, so fishing and watersports are the main thing. If you have a boat, you can use the pier. There's a fee for that.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
