Lochside View
Lochside View is a bungalow in Lochearnhead. It’s detached, so no neighbours on the other side of a wall. You look out over Loch Earn. The view from the front is quiet, just the loch and the hills.
It sleeps five. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. Everything’s on one floor. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well kitted out.
The place is in a quiet part of the village, but the loch is right there. If you’re into water sports, the centre is at the bottom of the road, less than five minutes’ walk. The local pub is about the same distance.
You’re in the middle of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. For walking or climbing, there are more than thirty Munros within half an hour’s drive. The same for mountain biking trails.
If you want to go further, Stirling is about forty minutes. Edinburgh and Glasgow are both a bit over an hour’s drive. Oban and Fort William are also within reach for a day trip.
For facilities: it has a dishwasher and washing machine, a garden with a patio, parking, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, I’m afraid.
