Lochside View
Lochside View is in Lochearnhead, on Loch Earn. It's a bungalow, detached. It sleeps five with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The 4 Star rating means it's well equipped and comfortable but isn't new.
The bungalow looks out over the loch. The view is the main thing about it. There's a patio garden to sit out on.
It's a quiet spot up the road from the village centre. There's a pub a short walk away, about half a mile. It does food. The shop is in Balquhidder, about two miles away.
You're right in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. The loch is good for kayaking or sailing. You can hire boats locally. For walking, Ben Vorlich is right there. There are a lot of Munros within half an hour's drive if that's what you're after.
Comrie is about twenty minutes east. Crieff is maybe half an hour. Stirling is good for a day out, it's under an hour. You can get to Edinburgh or Glasgow in a bit over an hour.
For facilities, it's got what you'd expect. WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside and a shed for bike storage.
A couple of things. The water comes from a private supply from the hill. It's tested and safe but it sometimes has a slight peaty colour to it. It's fine to drink.
